Built the other way around

Most trackers ask you to hand over the most intimate details of your life, and stay quiet about where that goes next. Kvit is built the other way around: your entries are encrypted on the phone itself — the key lives in the system’s secure storage and is never sent anywhere. They travel to your cloud copy encrypted the same way, so not even we can read them.

An honest forecast

We show you where the number came from

A typical tracker draws one confident date always — even when there is nothing yet to compute it from. Kvit labels where the forecast came from instead, and when it cannot compute one reliably it says so.

Situation

Kvit

in 12 days

For now, from your settings

For now the forecast is based on the cycle length in your settings, not on recorded cycles.

A typical tracker

12 September

The same confident date in all three situations.

A diagram, not a screenshot. The numbers are illustrative — we make no claim about forecast accuracy.

What Kvit does

Cycle, pregnancy and the time after birth — one app, not three separate stories.

Your cycle

A calendar that shows where you are now and what comes next. A forecast for your next period with an honest confidence level instead of false precision.

  • Period calendar with every cycle phase
  • Next-period forecast with a confidence level
  • Ovulation and fertile window as a guide
  • Symptoms, mood, weight and notes in one tap
  • Reminders that do not shout

Pregnancy week by week

Your current week and every past week are always free. How your baby is changing and what is happening to you.

  • Current and all past weeks — free
  • Checklists and a pregnancy diary
  • Kick counter and contraction timer
  • Looking ahead to future weeks is part of Kvit+

After birth

Kvit stays with you after birth — the same app, not a separate story.

  • Mood, feeding and recovery
  • Pregnancy history and album
  • Weight and how you feel

Knowledge library

Articles on cycles, pregnancy and recovery, with named sources and a medical disclaimer. We explain, we do not frighten.

  • Articles on cycles, pregnancy and recovery
  • Named sources
  • A medical disclaimer on every piece

Privacy you can check

Not “we promise not to read it”, but “we do not have the key”. Here is exactly how it is built, so you do not have to take our word for it.

Your phone

Mood: calm. Cramps low down.

Our server

No key

The key stays on your phone

An entry is encrypted before anything goes near the network. Ciphertext travels to the server; the key is not visible from there — which is why we cannot read the entry either.

AES-256. The key sits in the Keychain on iOS and the Keystore on Android, and never leaves the device.

The database on your phone is fully encrypted

AES-256. The key is held in the system’s secure storage — Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android — and never leaves the device.

The cloud copy holds ciphertext only

Entries are encrypted on the phone with a key that never leaves it, and only then uploaded. The server receives ciphertext, a record id and a change timestamp.

Notes, mood, symptoms, diary and photos

Carry their own additional encryption on top of the database — and that is the form in which they travel to the cloud copy.

Unlock with PIN or biometrics

Turn it on and the app will not open even on an unlocked phone.

No ads, no behavioural analytics

There are no advertising libraries in Kvit, we do not collect advertising identifiers, and your entries are not sold or passed to ad networks.
